OUR STORY

From One Lawyer to a Trusted Team

Adriana Blanco founded this firm with a simple idea: legal help shouldn’t feel like a root canal. What started as a solo practice with a big heart has grown into a collaborative team serving clients throughout Parksville and surrounding communities. From day one, we’ve aimed to bring something different to the legal space, a sense of ease, respect, and real human connection. We’re proud of the people who helped build Blanco Law: Diana, our seasoned conveyancer; Jeca, our sharp junior assistant; Phil, Adriana’s husband and key business contact; Lesley, our articling student; and Amanda, our trusted bookkeeper. Together, we’ve built a practice that’s approachable but thorough, empathetic but exacting. We’re not trying to be the biggest, just the most trusted.

Common Questions AboutAdriana Blanco Law

  • What does it mean that you’re a “boutique law firm”?

A boutique law firm is a smaller, specialized practice that focuses on providing high-quality, personalized legal services. At Blanco Law, “boutique” means we’re intentionally designed to serve clients with greater care, communication, and customization than you might find at a large, high-volume firm. We focus on four key areas, wills and estates, property law, immigration law, and corporate law, so we can offer deeper expertise in those fields. Because we’re not a massive operation, every client matters, and every file gets our full attention. You won’t be passed around or treated like a number. Instead, you’ll work directly with Adriana or another member of our close-knit team. The boutique model allows us to respond quickly, explain things clearly, and stay focused on your goals, not just the legal process. For clients, that often means a less stressful, more supportive experience overall.

  • Who will I be working with at Blanco Law?

When you contact Blanco Law, your primary point of contact will usually be Adriana Blanco, the firm’s founder and principal lawyer. A small, dedicated team that includes Diana, our legal assistant and conveyancing expert supports Adriana; Jeca, our junior assistant; Lesley, our articling student; Amanda, our bookkeeper; and Phil, Adriana’s husband and trusted business partner. This “Day One Dream Team” has been instrumental in growing the practice while staying true to our values of clarity, compassion, and excellence. Depending on the nature of your legal matter, different team members may assist behind the scenes, but all work is overseen by Adriana to ensure quality and consistency. We aim to build lasting relationships, so you’ll always know who you’re dealing with and how to reach us. You’re not just a case file here, you’re a person we genuinely care about.
