Adriana Blanco

Barrister & Solicitor

Adriana is a lawyer focused on real estate, wills and estates, and corporate law. Fluent in Spanish and English, she brings both local knowledge and international legal experience to her practice. Adriana graduated with honours in 2005 and holds advanced degrees including an LL.M in International Law and a Canadian Common Law LL.M (LLMCL). Her legal background spans international roles and reputable organizations, shaping her practical, client-centered approach. She’s known for her empathy, adaptability, and tenacious commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.

Diana Austin

Senior Conveyancer and Legal Assistant

With more than 30 years of experience, Diana is a trusted and knowledgeable legal assistant and conveyancer. She’s known for her dedication to clients, attention to detail, and ability to keep complex real estate and legal files running smoothly. Diana’s professionalism and warmth make her a key point of contact for clients navigating property transactions and estate matters.

Bruce K. Soloway

Barrister & Solicitor

 Bruce Soloway is a Barrister and Solicitor who has been dedicated to providing excellent legal advice to the Parksville area for over thirty years. He graduated from Simon Fraser University in 1981 with a degree in Criminology and went on to earn his Bachelors of Law at UBC. He was called to the Bar in 1991 and has been practicing Family Law and Estate Planning in Central Vancouver Island ever since. He has extensive trial experience at Provincial Court, Supreme Court, and the Court of Appeal in multiple registries across BC. Though he hails from the mainland, Bruce is a proud resident of Vancouver Island. In the years he has lived here, he has shown his love for the community through the sponsoring of local youth sports teams and scout groups, and the support of organizations such as Oceanside Hospice, Building Learning Together, The BC Children’s Hospital, the Salvation Army Pro Bono Program, and the Kinsmen Club of Parksville. Bruce is a proud father of two adult children. When he isn’t in the office, he can often be found on the golf course, or hiking and geocaching along one of the many beautiful trails the island has to offer."

 Rita Sherry

Conveyancer and Legal Assistant

Rita Sherry is a skilled conveyancer with over 20 years of experience, having worked with firms across Vancouver Island and the Okanagan. She is known for her strong expertise in real estate transactions, attention to detail, and reliable, efficient approach. Rita’s consistently positive attitude and friendly nature make her a pleasure to work with, and she is highly regarded for both her professionalism and the care she brings to every file.

Lesley Wimmer

Articling Student

Lesley Wimmer is an articling student currently completing her articles and on the path to admission to the Law Society of British Columbia. Called to the Bar of England and Wales at Gray's Inn in October 2019, Lesley brings a rare depth of international legal experience to her Canadian qualification. Her academic credentials include an LLB from the University of Leicester, an LLM in Bar Professional Training from City, University of London (Commendation), and an LLM in International Human Rights Law from the University of Essex (Merit). Lesley has developed a focused legal practice in human rights, modern slavery, and criminal law, including work as a Legal Assistant to human trafficking expert Dr. Pemberton Ford on over 22 County Lines cases involving youth and vulnerable adults, as well as prior casework experience at the National Centre for Domestic Violence in London. Her earlier Canadian experience includes roles as a Legal Assistant at Engel Law in Edmonton and as a Provincial Prison Advocate and Courthouse Administrator with the Elizabeth Fry Society, reflecting a career-long commitment to access to justice and the rights of vulnerable persons.
